Dr. Saul Eisenstat

Saul Eisenstat, MD is a general surgeon. He earned his degree from the University of Pennsylvania Medical School and trained as a general surgeon at Albert Einstein Medical Center. After serving as an army surgeon in Vietnam, he came to Ford Ord, Monterey. He practiced at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View and was a clinical Professor of surgery at Stanford Medical Center. He taught laparoscopic gallbladder surgery at Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba in Israel, where he treated Jews and Arabs alike. He has now retired to Carmel and assists at surgery at CHOMP.

Dr. Joel Jacobson

Dr. Joel Jacobson is originally from Salinas, California, and graduated from UC Berkeley and the University of Michigan Medical School. After medical school, he pursued a research fellowship studying the genetics of hearing loss, at Tel Aviv University.  He then spent an additional year of medical internship at Tel Hashomer Hospital, before completing his Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency at New York University, and subsequent fellowship at UC Davis in head and neck oncology.  He now practices as an otolaryngologist-head and neck surgeon in Monterey.
