We hope our answers will respond to most of your questions.
1. How do I purchase and receive my tickets?
Tickets can be purchased online or by calling 800-838-3006. Individual tickets can be purchased at the Box Office starting one hour before any event, subject to availability. Currently, tickets are available for ALL films and events. The Congregation Beth Israel office will not sell tickets.
2. What if I am a sponsor but I do not order my tickets in advance?
Sponsors receive free tickets as a benefit. Sponsors who do not select their films in advance may pick up their tickets at Will Call and choose their films and events at that time, subject to availability.
3. How do I use my reception tickets?
All receptions require one ticket, except the Closing Night reception that requires two tickets. Space cannot be guaranteed for Closing Night unless you make an advance reservation. Due to school policy, we are not allowed to serve wine at the Carmel High School Center for the Performing Arts, but we will have some great music!
4. Are tickets discounted for military personnel and students?
There are two prices for tickets: General Admission and Military/Student. All reception tickets are $12.
5. Do you have a reserved seating area available at each venue?
We have a reserved seating area available at all venues, but only for Sponsors and people with disabilities.
6. How do I become a Sponsor?
Please go to the Sponsorships page on our website and select your preference. Sponsors also can pay through Congregation Beth Israel by calling 831-624-2015.
7. How do Sponsors select their films and events?
Sponsors will receive a separate email with an access code that will enable them to select their films and events. They also can call 800-838-3006 with the code if they need assistance. Sponsors who reserve their tickets in advance receive a guaranteed seat and seating priority. All Sponsors can select their films and events at any scheduled event up to 20 minutes before the start time. 8. What is the seating policy at each venue?
People with disabilities or who are using wheelchairs may be seated at any time. Sponsors and people with pre-paid tickets may be seated any time. People who purchase tickets at the door will be seated on a space-available basis. Sponsors who purchase tickets at the door will be given priority if seating is still available.
9. Are pets allowed?
We apologize, but no pets are permitted at any of the Festival venues.
10. Are babies and children welcome?
Most films are suitable only for adult viewing. Many are in a language other than English and have subtitles. In an effort to minimize disruptions to the viewing experience, babies and young children are not allowed to be present at the Festival. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.
11. Is there any accommodation for wheelchairs?
All venues will accommodate wheelchairs. Please let our volunteers know of your special request.
12. Is there handicapped parking?
Yes for all events at Congregation Beth Israel, MIIS-Monterey, and Lighthouse Cinemas.
13. How are film ratings determined?
The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) provides us with its ratings. This helps us to determine the appropriate rating for each of our films. The film committee rates any films that have not been rated by the MPAA.
